In honor of Juneteenth, augzoo and 3240 Entertainment are proud to re-release History All Around Us, an immersive augmented reality experience located at Wooldridge Square in downtown Austin.
History All Around Us invites visitors to explore local history through interactive digital storytelling layered onto the physical environment of one of Austin’s most historic public spaces. Using the augzoo platform, guests can discover stories, images, and historical content that connect the past to the present while experiencing Wooldridge Square in a new and engaging way.
This special Juneteenth presentation celebrates the importance of preserving and sharing community history through emerging technology and public engagement. By combining place-based storytelling with augmented reality, the project encourages visitors to reflect on the people, events, and cultural contributions that have shaped Austin and Texas.
The History All Around Us experience will remain available at Wooldridge Square through June 30, 2026, allowing residents and visitors alike to participate in this unique exploration of local heritage.
