Internship Roles
1.) 🚀 Market Research & Business Development Intern
Department: Business Development / Marketing
Job Objective:
The Market Research & Business Development Intern will support augzoo® in identifying market opportunities, analyzing competitive trends, and developing strategies to expand our client base. This role will help shape our go-to-market strategies and support business development initiatives aimed at both immediate and long-term growth. The intern will work closely with the leadership team to refine our value proposition and pitch materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research on augmented reality, events, and influencer industries.
- Analyze competitor products, pricing models, and business strategies.
- Identify potential customers, partners, and investor opportunities.
- Assist in developing and refining the company’s value proposition and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on pitch preparation and business development initiatives.
- Work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with industry trends in AR or tech is a plus.
2.) 🎭 Story & Content Development Intern
Department: Creative / Content Development
Job Objective:
The Story & Content Development Intern will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging narratives and interactive content for augzoo®’s AR experiences. The objective is to develop story concepts and scripts that enhance the immersive quality of our AR channels, while ensuring historical and cultural accuracy. This role is ideal for creative minds eager to shape how digital storytelling is evolving.
Responsibilities:
- Develop narrative concepts, scripts, and interactive storylines for AR experiences.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate storytelling into AR activations.
- Conduct research on historical, cultural, or technical content relevant to our projects.
- Write engaging descriptions, dialogues, and interactive prompts that enhance user immersion.
- Work independently and as part of a creative team to refine content ideas.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research and synthesize information into compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with digital storytelling or interactive media is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
3.) 🎨 3D Artists & Graphic Design Integrators Intern
Department: Design / AR Development
Job Objective:
The 3D Artists & Graphic Design Integrators Intern will focus on designing and optimizing assets for real-time AR applications. This role will support the development of immersive experiences by creating 3D environments, characters, and UI elements that seamlessly integrate into our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design 3D assets, environments, and UI elements for AR applications.
- Optimize assets for real-time performance in mobile AR.
- Work with Blender, Unity, and Godot for AR visuals.
- Ensure assets are efficiently modeled, textured, and animated for smooth AR performance.
- Collaborate with developers to implement assets into interactive experiences.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in 3D Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Blender, Unity, or Godot.
- Strong visual design and modeling skills.
- Ability to work within performance constraints for mobile applications.
4.) 🎥 Animation Artist Intern
Department: Animation / AR Development
Job Objective:
The Animation Artist Intern will bring characters, creatures, and objects to life in AR environments. This role will focus on developing smooth, interactive animations that enhance storytelling and user engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Animate characters, creatures, and objects for AR experiences.
- Work with motion capture, keyframe animation, and physics-based animation.
- Assist in rigging, skinning, and implementing animations.
- Optimize animations for real-time performance in mobile AR.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate animations into AR scenes.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Animation, Game Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Blender, Unity, or Godot.
- Strong understanding of animation principles and rigging techniques.
- Experience with motion capture or physics-based animation is a plus.
Internship Compensation & Opportunities
augzoo®’s summer internships are typically unpaid, as they are designed to provide hands-on experience in augmented reality, immersive storytelling, and business development. However, interns who actively contribute to client projects or client pitches—particularly in business development—may be eligible for stipends or commissions based on successful deals.
Additionally, augzoo® believes in empowering independent creators. Interns will have the opportunity to explore commercialization pathways using augzoo®’s platform—whether as independent creators, potential partners, or future team members. As we grow and achieve commercial success, we aim to integrate top talent into full-time roles and create a thriving ecosystem of AR innovators.
